International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8, honors the remarkable contributions of women in social, political, economic, and cultural spheres. It is a day to recognize and amplify women’s rights, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive meaningful change.

In today’s digital era, cybersecurity has become a critical concern for women and young girls, as online threats continue to rise. Cybercrimes such as trolling, stalking, online grooming, cyberbullying, identity theft, fake profiles, sexual defamation, and image morphing pose significant risks, affecting their privacy, dignity, mental well-being, and even financial security. A safe cyber environment is essential and right for every women and girl, helping them to explore opportunities, express themselves freely, and achieve their aspirations without fear.

To address these concerns in cyber space it is necessary to educate and empower women and girls by highlighting key cyber threats and providing practical cybersecurity measures to safeguard their online presence. Accordingly, a workshop may be organized for women and girls on 08th March 2025, Saturday by all interested members on behalf of ISEA.

The required resources like, banners, posters, video, ppt etc., are made available for download and use by members to conduct the event as feasible to them in their location, school, college, community etc.,

We wish to see greater numbers of people join the cyber security bandwagon to sensitize people and empower them to build safe cyber space.
