Digital naagrik or citizen are people who are actively engaged in the digital world for their day to day activities. They are using internet for communication, entertainment, Online education / learning, e-commerce, and other professional/ entrepreneurial endeavors.
The unique ‘Digital Naagrik’ program aims at providing cyber schooling through role based learning by creating role based awareness and progression pathways for different users or segments of digital users in the society. The role based cyber aware progression pathways have been designed to offer a unique method of instruction that tailors the learning experience to the specific needs and roles of the learners. This approach is particularly effective in the context of cybersecurity education, as it allows learners to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their specific cybersecurity roles. The role based awareness pathways are customized to the specific needs of user groups, including kids, teens, youth, women, senior citizens, Entrepreneurs, government employees, NGOs, parents and teachers. It aims to equip different users with skills and behaviors necessary to protect themselves from various cyber threats ever evolving in cyber space.

The users who clear the basic level cyber course are offered opportunity to progress on the path to build their cyber security skills through cyber defender and trainer course that is part of Cyber security awareness progression pathway.
This is the next level in the path that provides in-depth training on cybersecurity and covers advanced topics. The participants of this course will also be able to contribute in creation of awareness, dissemination of awareness materials, and contribute content development areas.
The course content under ‘Cyber Naagrik’ program is designed in interactive multimedia and multilingual format with activities and parallel assessment questions. This format aims to present the content to users in user friendly, engaging and interesting ways, to sustain their interest throughout the learning process.
Design and development of customized / user specific content in the form of handbooks, posters, brochures, story boards, cartoon stories, short videos, e-learning courses, self-assessment quiz modules, etc.
The program aims to provide educational content on security related aspects in multilingual format, covering 10 regional languages i.e., Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam, Tamil, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Gujrati, Marathi. This enables the educational platform to reach a diverse group of audience from different states, fostering inclusive learning environment and facilitates a personalized and effective educational experience.
